Patience – It takes a great deal of patience to handle Young persons’ behaviour as they can be unpredictable and difficult to manage at times. This means being able to remain calm and composed. We always listen to their concerns and needs.

Empathy– We understand and can relate to individual’s feelings and experiences. Because it helps us as caregivers to not only provide the kind of support and guidance that children and young people need but also to create a safe and nurturing environment, where they feel comfortable and secure.

Responsibility – We are accountable for the well-being and safety of the children and young adults in our care. This is achieved by taking the time to understand each of their needs and ensuring that they are met. We set  boundaries and limits, when necessary, in order to keep them safe and secure.
